Pint-Sized Exploration

Today was cool and rainy, so we ventured out to the Children's Museum. Finn explored every inch of the place, starting with the grocery store. He filled up his cart, weighed a loaf of bread, and then went through check-out. He also helped quite a few others fill up their carts, check out their items, etc. :) They had a play cafe where kids can "cook" - the play food was incredibly realistic. One little girl held up a maybe-too-realistic slice of roast beef, turned to her dad, and said, "Dad, what the heck is this?" Finn cooked up a carbolicous lunch of bread, muffins and bagels for us. He enjoyed the digging area and Bob the Builder exhibit. He literally tried to climb into a sink to "fix" it. Yes, still obsessed with hand washing. The highlight was perhaps the water room, which was filled with tubs of water, water toys, and different apparatuses moving the water around. Finn was soaked by the end and ready to go. But not before stopping in the grocery store for one last run through check-out.

How fun! Isn't it great to be able to do things like that with Finn :)
