The Boy, the Birthday, and the Bike

Finn is 2! We had a low-key celebration with Omi and Opa - presents, pizza, cupcakes, and a short trip to Petco (to admire the hamsters, of course!). Finn was in love with all of his presents - a watering can with gardening tools, a cash register, a fire truck, and (drumroll, please!) a TRIKE!! See his excitement as Daddy busts through the door with Finn's new escape mechanism. We have done alot of riding over the past few weeks. Alot. Which is great, until you hear a small, but loud voice exclaim "Outside!!" when it's pouring down rain. Nonetheless, we've had quite a few good biking days and Finn is really proud of his new trike. He hasn't yet figured out that he needs to push on the pedals to make the bike go, which is no problem because of the pushbar that was included - good thinking Kettler!
