Suzuki Mastermind

Finn was very lucky to visit with my former piano teacher while we were in Chicago. Hopefully he will carry on the Suzuki tradition in our family, as Tom and I both studied the Suzuki method (piano for me, violin for him) starting at age 4! Finn LOVED all of the instruments in her house and tried out 2 pianos, a clavicord, an organ, and gave her 3 guitars some good strumming. We played the alphabet song and Pop Goes the Weasel about 10 times. In hindsight, she was probably glad when we left. :) Nothing like repetition for a toddler! Interesting, though, that Suzuki's learning by ear method is all about repetition. I think we have a musician on our hands!
