Up, Up and Away

Finn and I went on a solo mission to Chicago last week for Tante Lauren's bridal shower. Finn was a good little traveler and was quite excited about the airport and airplanes. I've never seen someone play peek-a-boo with an airplane while boarding, but it is possible, and quite adorable. Finn also got his first set of wings from a flight attendant on our Alaska Air flight, which unfortunately were smashed when they fell off and we strolled over them. Finn had lots of fun exploring Omi's house, including playing with "the boys," aka two very breakable Hummel figurines. He even got to visit with Grosi and Grandpa for an afternoon. The airport and flight made such an impression on Finn that when he got ahold of Tante Lauren's little Paris suitcase, he made a beeline for the door, wanted to put his shoes on and go to the flughafe (airport). Hmmmm.... is someone's daddy a pilot?
